Autodesk Customers with Multi-user subscription or Token-flex implementation using Autodesk Network License Manager (NLM) are required to upgrade the Network License Manager to the latest version v11.18.x to support Autodesk 2020 and newer version products on and after April 1st, 2022. ref

AutoCAD 2021 with its main executable acad.exe is detected as a potentially unwanted app by Windows Defender Antivirus as Program:Win32/Unwaders.A!ml
It’s said that this program has potentially unwanted behavior. Of that I can sometimes agree.
“Win32/Unwaders.A!ml is a detection for computer adware that shows unruly advertisements on the infected computer. This threat usually penetrates the computer is several ways including malicious ad campaign and software bundling method.
There is really no difference how Adware:Win32/Unwaders.A!ml attacks as compare to all threats from this same category. All of them are taking advantage of software bundling hoax to sneak onto computer even without permission from users.“
Personally I think this is a false positive. It happens once in a while even with our apps that Antivirus programs think they are a threat even if they are not. Usually it is fixed by an updated Antivirus definition within a few days.
Update: Now also AutoCAD 2020 is detected in the same way.

Autodesk Licensing Service Update for 2020 product versions
This update for Autodesk Licensing Service is available for all the platforms - Windows, Mac and Linux. The update includes defect fixes related to install, launch, security and resiliency of Autodesk Licensing Service and its installer. For more details, please refer to the Improvements and Defects section below. This is a cumulative update and contains all the changes from the updates previously released. Autodesk strongly recommends installing the latest available version of the Autodesk Licensing Service for better reliability and performance

The AutoCAD 2020.1 Update contains the previously released block performance hotfix for AutoCAD 2020.
After applying this patch, the Product Version in the About box will be listed as Q.70.0.0 AutoCAD 2020.1. For specialized toolsets, Autodesk Civil 3D or Autodesk Advance Steel, the Built On version will be listed as Q.70.0.0 AutoCAD 2020.1.

Autodesk Network License Manager (FlexNet Publisher 2018 R4 based) has been updated. License administrators must upgrade the license servers to the latest version, v11.16.2.0, when using Autodesk’s 2020 products like AutoCAD 2020 or Revit 2020. As it’s soon time for the new 2020 products you can prepare in good time.
You find the latest installer here. adskflex.exe, lmgrd.exe, lmtools.exe and lmutil.exe are updated.

According to this knowledge base article AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT 32-Bit will be discontinued in upcoming AutoCAD 2020.
“Over the past several years, Autodesk has reduced its support for 32-bit systems which are low in memory and result in a poor drafting experience and high crash rates. Starting with the next annual release of AutoCAD, there will no longer be a 32-bit offering for AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT and Developer Products.
By eliminating use of this outdated technology (and focusing on 64-bit solutions), we will be able to provide our customers a better AutoCAD experience and focus on delivering more value to our subscribers.
If you are currently running 64-bit AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT: There is no action for you to take and you will not be impacted by this change.
If you are currently using 32-bit AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT: Customers who are currently using 32-bit AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT can continue using their current software without any issue.
You can choose to stay on your current version of AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD LT or upgrade your OS and hardware (to take advantage of future releases of AutoCAD and LT that will only be available as 64-bit).”
