JTB BatchAttEdit 3.1.1 - Batch edit attributes in BricsCAD or AutoCAD

JTB BatchAttEdit 3.1.1 has been released. We fixed an error when attribute can't be edited if tag contains space.

This batch attribute editor app for AutoCAD and BricsCAD collects attributes in all blocks of specified name patterns in multiple drawings and display in a wide spreadsheet. Then you can edit attribute texts as easy as working with Excel. Once done, click "Apply Attribute Changes" to update values to drawings.

This makes it a great app to for example edit title block attributes across many drawings instead of having to do it one drawing at a time. How do you edit all title block data?

If you want to export the attributes to Excel use the "Export - Import" button. Optionally you can make modifications in Excel for example with help of functions and formulas and then import back.

Try it for free by downloading from JTB BatchAttEdit. Existing customers just need to download and install this update.

JTB FixRefs 1.3 released - fix your external references in AutoCAD

JTB FixRefs 1.3 is now available. Fix paths on your external references. Xrefs, Datalinks, Raster Images, PDFs, DWFs, and DGNs are supported.

Version 1.3 has more ways to add drawings, like automatically adding xrefs.

Free trial of JTB FixRefs available.

JTB OffsetInXref 2.0 better offset for AutoCAD

JTB OffsetInXref can be used with AutoCAD to enable the OFFSET command to work with externally referenced drawings, blocks, and lines within associated arrays, dimensions and tables.

  • Once loaded, the standard OFFSET command will work with blocks and externally referenced content: instead of responding "Cannot offset that object.", the app will automatically copy the selected object into the current drawing, allowing it to participate with the OFFSET command.
  • The lowest-level object will be selected, if part of a nested Xref or block, but some objects - such as Hatches - will still cause the "Cannot offset that object" prompt to be displayed.
  • The app can either have the OFFSET command create geometry on the current layer (the default) or the source layer. The XOFFSETLAYER command allows configuration of this option.

Version 2.0 comes with the added ability to offset on dynamic blocks or other objects containing xdata. New licensing including optional network license. A bug was fixed that caused an error if the xref offsetting from was already opened.

Free trial available at JTB OffsetInXref.
