Remove items from Windows Control Panel

Have you ever wanted to delete or hide items from Windows Control Panel? Under Hardware and Sound in Windows 7 I find for example Autodesk Plot Style Manager and Autodesk Plotter Manager that are added after installing AutoCAD.

Delete or move these files and reopen the Control panel and the items are gone.

"C:\Windows\System32\plotman.cpl"
"C:\Windows\System32\styleman.cpl"

You can also hide items using the Registry editor or Group Policy Editor (look for Hide specified Control Panel items and List of disallowed Control Panel items) as it is easier if you want to do it on many computers and some items cannot easily be deleted like the two in the example above.
