Autodesk RSS feeds will be shut down

NOTICE: Autodesk RSS feeds will be shut down on August 28, 2013. I guess this will affect some or all of the following sites: http://www.autodesk.com/rss, http://www.autodesk.com/discussion-rss, http://rss-aec.autodesk.com/subscription, http://rss-manufacturing.autodesk.com/subscription, http://rss-media-ent.autodesk.com/subscription and http://rss-support.autodesk.com/subscription.

I think this is unfortunate and wonder why this happens. Maybe too few are using them. Will also future AutoCAD products have limited or removed feed functionality?

UPDATE: See comments from Autodesk’s Noah Cole below. “ RSS feeds from Autodesk discussion groups (http://forums.autodesk.com/), blogs (http://autodesk.com/blogs) and our press releases (http://news.autodesk.com) remain active, but will require users to re-subscribe to each feed individually.”
