This program is used to change the text in the title bar of the AutoCAD application Window. It works for AutoCAD 2011 as well as older AutoCAD versions too.
I had an older version but never had any reason to update it for AutoCAD 2010 and AutoCAD 2011 but instead of reinventing the wheel when I was asked about an update for 2011 I got ok from Lee Ambrosius, HyperPics: Beyond the UI so here is ChangeTitleForAutoCAD.zip that he made.

Jimmy,
ReplyDeleteWhen I load the changetitle.lsp I get a pop up with the VBA window and the error.
Compile error:
Function or interface markeas a restricted, or the funtion uses an Automation type not supported in Visual Basic.
I had admin rights on my Win 7 Ultimate with Autocad 2009 and Autocad 2011.
I copied the program files to the Autocad main folder before the appload.
It works fine on the same machine with Autocad 2011.
Thank you for the fun tool.
I just tried it with AutoCAD 2009 and Win 7 Ultimate and it worked fine. Not sure why it did not work for you though.
ReplyDeleteThank You very much for the update. Been looking for this for a while now. Work perfect.
