JetStream v5 from NavisWorks Released
NavisWorks has released a major version of JetStream. It's a great software that we use to review large 3D models created in AutoCAD, ADT, MagiCAD, ProSteel 3D, PDMS and other 3D software packages. The models are so large that we cannot even open them in AutoCAD because it cannot handle these models even with 2GB RAM. But with JetStream it's a piece of cake to navigate in them, finding clashes automatically and manually. Based on my experience of the product and what's added to these version I'm sure we'll soon upgrade and deploy. It has my recommendations.
Looking at some of the enhancements I quickly found that these where relevant directly for us:
